OVERVIEW
Sapphire FUE hair transplant is one of the latest step in classical FUE where after extraction the crucial step of slit (perforation in skin to make recipient site for graft) making is done with help of sapphire gem (stone) instead of blades or needles which are used in FUE.

PROCESS OF SAPPHIRE FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT
After giving local anesthesia in donor area, grafts are extracted with automated FUE with help of 0.7,0.8,0.9 mm mini & micro punches. After process of extraction anesthesia is given in recipient site and small incisions are made with help of sharp, smooth sapphire blades of different sizes like 1.0,1.3,1.5 mm.
ADVANTAGES OF SAPPHIRE BLADE
- Sapphire blade avoid too much tissue damage as the shape of sapphire blade itself is spear shaped so it opens the channel in the required diameter only thus avoiding excess trauma to the skin, less trauma to the skin means lesser scar tissue and faster recovery.
